Ghee rice
ONE POT DELICIOUS GHEE RICE
INGREDIENTS :-
* Jeera rice - 2 cups
* Onion - 2
* Tomato - 2 big
* Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbs
* Cinnamon - 2 Inch piece
* Clove - 5
* Cardamom - 3
* Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
* Sunflower oil - 2 tbs
* Ghee - 2 tbs
* Water - 3 cups
* Coriander leaves - 3 tbs
* Salt - to taste
METHOD :-
* Wash the rice and let it soak for 20 minutes.
* After 20 minutes, drain out the water.
* Put a pressure cooker on the stove.
* Heat oil and ghee.
* Then add the spices.
* To this add sliced onion. Saute it till it becomes light brown color.
* Add ginger-garlic paste to this. Saute it until the raw taste is completely gone.
* Then add chopped tomato, saute it 1 minute.
* To this add 3 cups of water along with salt.
* When it starts bubbling add rice and coriander leaves.
* Let it boil for 3 minutes in high flame.
* Close the lid. (remove the whistle from the pressure cooker lid)
* Turn the flame low.
* After 12 minutes. Turn off the flame.
* Open the lid. Mix well.
* Tasty easy ghee rice is ready to serve.
