ONION PAKODA
Onion pakoda is deep fried snack. These are crispy and flavorful snack perfect for winter season. But you can enjoy it anytime with tomato sauce, mint chutney, green chutney..
INGREDIENTS :-
* Medium sized onion - 5
* Green chilli - 1 - 2
* chopped ginger - 1 Tbs
* chilli powder - 1/2 Tbs
* salt - to taste
* gram flour - 2 Tbs
* All purpose flour - 2 Tbs
* Chopped Curry leaves - 2 Tbs
* Oil - for frying
METHOD :-
* Slice the onions.
* Mix sliced onions with salt.
* Mix well.
* Keep aside for 10 minutes, so that it snooze out the water content in it.
* Then squeeze out the water content in the onion with our hands. ( so that that the pakoda becomes crispy)
* To this add chilli powder, chopped ginger, chopped curry leaves, gram flour, all purpose flour.
* Mix well.
* Take small small portion with a spoon.
* Immediately after mixing,
* Heat oil.
* Start deep frying in medium flame until it turns light brown color.
* Take out from the oil and serve hot with tomato sauce or green chutney.
