Quail egg fry

  Quail egg fry / Kada mutta fry is a street food special  especially in the Kozhikode beach areas. It's a spicy flavoured dry dish. The quail egg covered with flavoured masala makes it a lip smacking dish. It can be made within a few minutes. 

INGREDIENTS :-

* Quail egg - 10

* Chilli powder - 1 tsp

* Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp

* Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

* Coriander powder - 1/4 tsp

* Garam masala - 1/4 tsp

* Fennel seed powder - 1/2 tsp

* Curry leaves - 1 sprig

* Oil - 1 tbs

* Salt - to taste

METHOD :-

* Boil the quail eggs until it's cooked well. 

* Peel it. Keep aside. 

* To a bowl add chilli powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, fennel seed powder and salt with 1tsp water. Masala mix is ready. Keep aside. 

* Heat a pan add oil followed by curry leaves. 

* To this add the masala mix. 

* Saute it in  low flame for 30  seconds. 

* Then add boiled eggs. Mix it for another 30 - 40 seconds. 

* Turn off the flame. 

* It's ready to serve. Serve with a cup of tea or coffee.
