Plantain fry / Raw banana fry

   This is one of the easiest and delicious raw banana fry. For this recipe we don't need any special ingredients. Raw banana/ plantain is low in calories and high in protein and vitamins. Let's see how to make this delicious fry. 

INGREDIENTS :-

* Raw banana - 2

* Chilli powder - 1 tsp

* Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

* Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp

* Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp

* Corn flour - 1/2 tsp

* Salt - to taste

* Oil - 2 tbs

METHOD :-

* Wash and peel the raw banana. 

* Cut into 1/4 inch slices. The slices should not be too thin or too thick. 

* Boil Some water along with turmeric powder. 

* Let it vigorously boil. 

* Add plantain pieces. 

* Once it done turn off the flame. Then Close the lid. 

* Let it rest for 15 minutes. 

* After 15 minutes drain it. 

* Transfer this to a bowl. 

* To this add chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste, pepper powder and salt. Mix it. 

* Let it marinate for 15 minutes. 

* After that add 1/2 tsp corn flour, mix it. 

* Heat a pan, add oil. 

* When the oil becomes hot add the marinated pieces. 

* Shallow fry it in medium flame by flipping both sides. 

* Tasty and easy raw banana fry is ready to serve. Serve hot.
