              Garlic Rice

     


      Garlic rice is the easiest flavorful dish. You can serve with anything like stir fried, chicken roast, fish, pickle etc... This rice is so flavorful, you can eat it plain. 

INGREDIENTS :-

* Steamed rice - 1 bowl

* Garlic - 5

* Shallots - 10

* Ghee - 1 1/2 tbs

* Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp

* Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp

* Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

* Dried chilli - 1

* Curry leaves - 1 sprig

* Salt - to taste

METHOD :-

* Heat a pan, add ghee. When it becomes hot add dried chilli. 

* Then add Sliced garlic. Saute it for 30 seconds. After that add sliced shallots. 

* Saute it till it becomes light brown color in medium to low flame. 

* Turn the flame low. 

* Once it done, add turmeric powder, coriander powder, pepper powder, salt and curry leaves. 

* Mix well. 

* To this add slightly cooled steamed rice. 

* Mix it gently in medium flame for 2 minutes. 

* Tasty and flavorful garlic rice is ready to serve.
