Excellent Breakfast smoothie for Diabetes and fatty liver
This is a simple and health-focused smoothie recipe that uses green peas, tomato, jackfruit powder, chia seeds, and virgin coconut oil — ingredients that may support the management of diabetes and fatty liver through their fiber content, low glycemic impact, and healthy fats.
Benefits of each Ingredients:-
Green Peas: Rich in plant protein and fiber, they help stabilize blood sugar and improve insulin sensitivity.
Tomato: Low in calories, high in antioxidants (especially lycopene), and supportive for liver detoxification.
Jackfruit Powder: A diabetic-friendly fruit powder that may help reduce post-meal glucose spikes. High in fiber.
Chia Seeds: Packed with omega-3s and soluble fiber, helping with blood sugar control and fatty liver reduction.
Virgin Coconut Oil: Provides medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), which may aid in fat metabolism without raising blood sugar.
Ingredients:
* ½ cup boiled green peas
* 1 medium tomato (chopped)
* 1 tablespoon jackfruit powder
* 1 tablespoon chia seeds (soaked in water for 10 minutes)
* 1 teaspoon virgin coconut oil
* ½ cup water
* A few mint leaves (optional, for freshness)
Instructions:
1. Prep the ingredients: Soak chia seeds in water for 10 minutes. Boil or steam the green peas and allow them to cool.
2. Blend: Add green peas, chopped tomato and blend it nicely by adding enough water.
* Transfer this to the serving bowl.
* Then add soaked chia seeds, jackfruit powder, and coconut oil to a blended Green peas- tomato paste.
* Mix and combine well.
* Serve immediately, optionally garnished with mint leaves.
