Easy Butter bun recipe

  A cream bun filled with butter is a rich, indulgent treat that combines the soft, pillowy texture of freshly fried bread with the luxurious creaminess of butter. The bun, often slightly sweet and golden on the outside, is sliced open to reveal a generous slathering of softened butter nestled inside, sometimes accompanied by a light dusting of powdered sugar on top. As the butter slightly melts into the warm interior of the bun, it creates a satisfying contrast between the fluffy dough and the smooth, salty richness of the filling. Popular in various regional bakeries, this simple yet decadent pastry offers a nostalgic taste of comfort and home-style baking.

INGREDIENTS :-

* All purpose flour - 2 cups

* Luke warm Milk - 3/4 cup

* Sugar - 4 tbs

* Yeast - 1 tsp

* Butter - 1 tbs + 50 gms

* Salt - 1/2 tsp

* Oil - for deep frying

For butter cream :-

* Unsalted Butter - 50 gms

* Salt - 2 pinch

* Sugar - 1/2 cup

* Vanilla essence - 3 drops

METHOD :-

* To a bowl add luke warm milk, 1 tbs of sugar and yeast. 

* Let it sit for 10 minutes. 

* After 10 minutes, add the flour to this along with 3 tbs of sugar and 1/2 tsp of salt. 

*   Mix it and knead it along with 1 tbs of butter to a soft non- sticky dough. 

* Grease it with butter and let it sit for 1 1/2 hours or until it rise to double. 

* Then punch it into 9 equal sized balls. 

* Cover it with a plastic wrap and let it rest for 20 minutes. 

* After that heat oil for deep frying. 

* When the oil heats up, drop the dough balls and fry it until golden color in medium to low flame. 

* Let it cool down  the fried bun completely. 

* To make butter cream, grind the sugar to a fine powder. 

* To a bowl add the softened butter, salt and powdered sugar and vanilla essence. 

* Whip it until it becomes white cream like texture. 

* To make butter bun, take the cooled fried buns. 

* Slit them open in half. Make sure the buns is completely cold when filling. 

* Spread 2 tbs of butter cream on each bun. 

* That's it, Tasty butter bun is ready to serve.
