Tapioca Pappad / Kappa pappadam

   Kappa pappadam also known as tapioca pappad is a crispy and savory treat that brings a unique crunch to your meals. Made from tapioca powder. This can be enjoyed on its own as a light, satisfying snack. 

INGREDIENTS :-

* Tapioca powder - 1 cup

* Water - 1 1/2 cup

* Chilli powder - 2 tsp

* Asafoetida powder - 1/2 tsp

* Salt - to taste

METHOD :-

* To a bowl add all the ingredients. 

* Mix it. 

* Batter should be in flowing consistency. 

* Take a round plate. Grease with some oil. 

* Then Pour 2tbs of batter to the plate.  (The quantity of the batter depends on the size of the plate we are taking) 

* Turn and tilt the plate so that the batter will spread evenly a thin layer. 

* Steam it for 2-3 minutes. 

* Take out the plate from the steamer. 

* De-mould it using a spoon. 

* Follow the same process until the batter finished. 

* After that Sundried it. When the sun is at the peak it takes 2 days to dry. 

* Store it upto 1 year in room temperature. 

* Deep fry in oil and serve it when ever you want.
