Crispy Cabbage fry / Cabbage 65
Cabbage is great for making different dishes.Here I am sharing cabbage fry it's very simple yet delicious. This is a classic Telugu recipe which is loved by many due to the crispy texture of cabbage with slightly coated batter. We can enjoy this as a side dish or as a snack.
INGREDIENTS :-
* Cabbage - 250 gm
* Pepper powder - 1 tsp
* Chilli powder - 1 tsp
* Cumin seed powder - 1 tsp
* Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
* Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
* Salt - to taste
* Corn flour - 3 tbs
* Besan flour - 1 cup
* Curry leaves - 2 sprig
* Oil - for frying
METHOD :-
* Cut the cabbage into julienne pieces.
* Put this into a bowl.
* Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, cumin powder, ginger garlic paste and salt.
* Mix it.
* Then add corn flour and besan flour. Then Sprinkle some water for just to stick the flour to the cabbage. The batter should not be in a watery consistency. It should be like a thick dough.
* Heat oil for deep frying.
* Take a small portion of the cabbage mixture.
* Gently drop into the hot oil. Spread it all over, don't put the mixture all in one place because the mixture will stick each other and becomes lumpy.
* Fry till it becomes crispy.
* Follow the same process for the remaining cabbage mixture
* Then turn off the flame. After that deep fry the curry leaves for few seconds. Remove from the oil and add to the cabbage fry. Mix it.
* Tasty and crispy cabbage fry is ready.
