Bell pepper - Potato roast
Bell peppers - potato roast is a filling and very tasty dish. It's a rocking side dish to bring some flare to any dinner. It can also be used to make stuffed chapati, sandwiches and more.
INGREDIENTS :-
* Potato - 2
* Onion - 2
* Bell pepper - 1
* Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
* Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
* Tomato - 3 tbs
* Green chilli - 2
* Kasuri Methi leaves - 1 tsp
* Coriander leaves - 1 tbs
* Salt - to taste
METHOD :-
* Cook the potato.
* Peel it and mash it. Set aside.
* Heat oil in a pan. Then add finely chopped onions along with salt.
* Saute till it becomes transparent.
* Then add bell peppers pieces.
* Saute it for 2 minutes.
* Then add coriander leaves and green chilli.
* Saute until the onions turns light brown color.
* Once it done turn the flame low and add Chilli powder and turmeric powder.
* Saute until the raw smell goes.
* Then add chopped tomato and saute till the tomato becomes mashy.
* To this add mashed potatoes and kasuri methi leaves.
* Mix it.
* Cook in low flame until the potato turns light brown color. Stir it occasionally. It will takes nearly 20 minutes. When it reaches the correct stage it won't stick to the pan.
* Turn off the flame.
* Tasty Bell pepper- potato roast is ready.
