Vegetable Cutlet

   This is an easy and crispy veg cutlet recipe. A popular deep fried snack made with lots of vegetables. Mainly served during evening with a cup of tea or coffee. It can also be an ideal starter or appetizer with choice of spicy dip or sauce. 

INGREDIENTS :-

* Potato - 2 

* Carrot - 1/2 cup

* Beetroot - 1/4 cup

* Green beans - 1/4 cup

* Onion - 1 small

* Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 tsp

* Green chilli - 1

* Pepper powder - 1 tsp

* Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp

* Cumin seed powder - 1/2 tsp

* Coriander leaves - 2 tbs

* Oil - 1 tbs + For frying

* Salt - to taste

* Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup

* All purpose flour - 3 tbs

METHOD :-

* Boil the potato. 

* Then peel it and mash it. Set aside. 

* Heat a pan add oil. 

* Then add chopped onion. Saute till it becomes transparent. 

* Add ginger garlic paste and chopped green chilli. 

* Saute it till the raw taste is gone. 

* Once it done add chopped carrot,  beetroot and green beans along with salt. 

* Saute in low flame till it becomes cooked well. 

* To this add garam masala powder,cumin seed powder and pepper powder. Mix it. 

* Add mashed up to this. Mix well. 

* Finally add coriander leaves. 

* Turn off the flame. 

* Make medium sized balls out of this. 

* Gently press it to make a round shape patties with half inch thickness. 

* Mix the all purpose flour with water and make a thin batter. 

* Dip the cutlets in this. Then dredge it in the bread crumbs. 

* Dredge the patties evenly with bread crumbs and dust of any excess breadcrumbs. 

* Repeat the same process until it's finished. 

* Heat oil, when it becomes hot turn the flame to medium. 

* Drop the patties. Cook until it becomes golden brown color.

* Tasty veg cutlet is ready.
