Cooker palada payasam

   Palada payasam is a popular Kerala sadhya recipe . Which is known for it pink hue color hence it is also known as pink palada. Follow the recipe to make creamy palada payasam without any mistakes. 


INGREDIENTS :-

* Rice ada - 200 gm

* Full fat milk - 3 ltr

* Sugar - 600 gm

* Butter - 1 tbs

METHOD :-

* Take a 10 ltr pressure cooker. 

* Add the milk and sugar to the pressure cooker. 

* Mix it. 

* Boil it. 

* When the milk starts raising, Turn the flame low. 

* Then close the lid with the whistle. 

* Let it boil in low Flame for 45 minutes. Don't allow to whistle it. 

* Meanwhile soak the ada in hot water. Set aside. 

* After 45 minutes turn off the flame. 

* Let the pressure completely gone. 

* After that open the lid and add soaked and drained ada to the boiled milk. 

*  Again boil it for another 15 minutes

* Stir it occasionally. 

* Once it done add the butter and mix it. 

* Then turn off the flame. 

* Remove from the flame and Stir it continuously for 2 minutes. 

* Tasty palada is ready to serve.
