Potato stir fry / Simple potato fry


 Potato stir fry is a simple and tasty recipe goes well with rice and chapati. It simply takes just 15 - 20 minutes to cook. This is an ideal recipe for lunch box. It's a best blend with rice and rasam, curd rice. I am adding amchur powder but if you don't like this you can skip this.

  Let's see how to make this delicious potato fry.


COMBINATION:-

* Curd rice + potato stir fry

* Lemon rice + potato stir fry

* Rice + potato stir fry


INGREDIENTS :-

* Potato - 3 medium

* Onion - 1

* Garlic - 5 - 6

* Turmeric powder - 1/4 Tsp

* Chilly powder - 1 Tsp

* Salt - to taste

* Pepper powder - 1/2 Tsp

* Amchur powder (optional)

* Curry leaves - 1 sprig

* oil - 3 Tbsp


METHOD:-

* Put a khadai on the stove add oil when it becomes hot add chopped garlic.

* Saute it for 1 minute. Then add chopped onion and salt saute it till it becomes transparent.

* Add curry leaves and potato pieces. Mix it well.

Potato stir fry


* Add chilly powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder.

* Cook this in high flame for 1 minute. Then turn the flame low - medium. Stir occasionally, until until it becomes fried well.

* At this time add amchur powder, mix well. Turn off the flame.

* Tasty potato stir fry is ready to serve.
