Ladies finger (okra) stir fry, this is my mom's recipe. She used to prepare this recipe in a easy method, The taste...no words for that. The most compelling thing for setting up this recipe is that cook this recipe in medium to high fire otherwise it becomes mashy. This goes well with boiled rice.

Points to note while making this recipe:-
* Use fresh ladies finger.
* Cook this in medium to high flame.
* Wipe out the extra water before chopping.
Combination:-
* Rice + rasam + ladies finger stir fry
INGREDIENTS:-
* Ladies finger - 250gm
* Shallots - 15
* Grated coconut - 1 hand full
* Chilly powder - 2 Tsp
* Turmeric powder - 1/4 Tsp
* Salt - to taste
* Oil - 3 Tbsn
* Mustard seeds - 1/2 Tsp
METHOD :-
* Wash and wipe out the extra water from the ladies finger.
* Chop them into small pieces.
* Put a pan on the stove add oil when it becomes hot add Mustard seeds, when it pops up add chopped ladies finger.
* Saute it for 5 minutes in high flame.
* Add shallots pieces saute it for 2 minutes in high flame.
* Then add chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt and grated coconut.
* Saute it till it becomes completely fried.
* Tasty ladies finger stir fry is ready to serve.
