How to make masala peanuts
MASALA PEANUTS
Masala peanuts is a easy and tasty recipe. Don't need too much of ingredients with less effort. Serve this with a cup hot tea or coffee. This is one of my favourite snack. It's rich in protein. Homemade peanuts are preparing without any colour. It can be made within a few minutes. Peanuts coated with chick pea flour, rice flour and some spices makes this recipe more crunchy and tastier. So why don't we make this at home..
Let's see how to make this tastier peanut masala.
INGREDIENTS :-
* Raw peanuts - 1/2 kg
* Chick pea flour - 5 Tbsp
* Rice flour - 1 Tbsp
* Chilly powder - 1 1/2 Tsp
* Kashmiri chilly powder - 1 Tsp
* Asafoetida powder - 1/4 Tsp
* Fennel seeds - 1 1/2 Tsp
* Garlic - 10
* Salt - to taste
* Oil - for frying
* Curry leaves - 4 sprig
METHOD :-
* Wash the peanuts and strain it.
* To a bowl add chick pea flour, rice flour, chilly powder, Kashmiri chilly powder, crushed fennel seeds, crushed garlic and salt.
* Make a thick paste.
* Add washed peanuts to this and mix well.
* Put a pan on the stove add oil when it becomes medium heat add peanuts.
* Stir this continuously for 1 minute using a stick.
* When it starts slightly cracking. Take peanuts from the oil.
* Turn off the flame. Then add curry leaves. Take this from the oil. Add this to the fried peanuts. Mix well.
* When it becomes completely cooled down store this in an air tight container for 1 week.
* Crunchy and tastier peanut masala is ready to serve.
