CABBAGE PAKODA
Cabbage Pakoda is a very easy to make snack. This pakoda can also be used for making vegetable manchurian. A yummy dish that you can make for your friends and family in rainstorm and winters. This pakoda is cooked with cabbage, corn flour, all purpose flour and some spices. This can also be used for making vegetable manchurian. A yummy dish that you can make to treat your family and companion on social affairs, kitty gatherings, and game evenings; Serve with ketchup or mint chutney along with a cup of hot tea or coffee.
INGREDIENTS:-
* Sliced cabbage - 1 cup
* Grated carrots - 1/2 cup
* Ginger garlic paste - 1 Tsp
* Green chilly - 2
* Chilly powder - 1/2 Tsp
* Pepper powder - 1/4 Tsp
* Turmeric powder - 1/4 Tsp
* Soya sauce - 1/2 Tsp
* Tomato sauce - 1 1/2 Tsp
* Butter - 2 Tsp
* Salt - to taste
* Corn flour - 2 Tbsn
* All purpose flour - 5 Tbs
* Oil - for frying
METHOD :-
* Take a bowl add sliced cabbage, grated carrot and all other ingredients except corn flour and all purpose flour.
* Mix well with your hand.
* Keep aside for 20 minutes.
* After that you can see water oozing out of it.
* Then add corn flour and all purpose flour.
* Mix it well. I am not adding any water to this.
* Heat a kadai, add some oil. When the oil becomes hot.
* Add little by little ( make small ball) of the cabbage mix to the oil. Fry till it turns light brown. Cook in medium flame.
* When the pakoda becomes crunchy transfer to a strainer or a kitchen tissue.
* Tasty crunchy pakoda is ready to serve.
