Unakka chemeen manga curry/ dried shrimp mango curry

    The present recipe is unakka chemeen and manga curry. The tangy taste of mango with dried shrimp gives a wonderful treat.      This curry made in an earthen pot gives an additional  taste to the curry. This works well with boiled rice. This is one of the most outstanding curry of seafood lover. INGREDIENTS ;- * Dried shrimp - 100 gm * Raw Mango - 1 * Tamarind paste - 1/2 Tbsp * Shallots ( small onion) - 7 + 3 * Coconut oil - 2 Tbsn * Coriander powder - 1 1/2 Tbsn * Chilly powder - 2 - 3 Tsp * Turmeric powder - 1/2 Tsp * Salt - to taste * Grated coconut - 1/2 cup * Cumin seeds - 1pinch * Fenugreek seeds - 1 pinch METHOD :- * Clean the shrimp and keep aside. * Heat oil in a pan add Fenugreek seeds when it pops out add 7 small onion (pieces).                    Today I will like to share how to make pappadam curry. It goes well with steamed rice. The combination of steamed rice, pappadam curry and roasted potatoes is very tasty. Usually pappadam is served as an accompaniment to a meal. Pappadam has an important role in kerala sadhya.
