Lazy daisy cake

         LAZY DAISY CAKE    This cake is very easy to make, and it tastes delicious. Lazy daisy cake is a hot milk sponge cake, topped with a broiled sugar coconut Frosting.    INGREDIENTS :- * Flour - 1 cup + 2 tbs * Baking powder - 1 1/4 tsp * Egg - 3 * Sugar powder - 1/2 cup + 2 tbs * salt - 1 pinch * vanilla essence - 1 tsp * Luke warm milk - 1/2 cup * Butter - 1+ 1/2 tbs For Topping :- * Butter - 50 gms * Fresh cream - 1/4 cup * sugar - 1/4 cup * Dessicated coconut - 1 cup * vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp * salt - 1 pinch METHOD :- * To a bowl add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix with a wire whisk.  * Mix Luke warm milk and 1+1/2 tbs butter.  * To a bowl add egg, sugar (slightly Granulated), vanilla essence.  * Beat till it becomes light and fluffy.  * To this add Luke warm milk and butter mix along with flour.  * Mix well with a spatula.  * Transfer this to an 8 inch pan.  * Bake this in preheated oven (1...

  BUTTERSCOTCH PUDDING CAKE  This is a very yummy and easy cake recipe.  INGREDIENTS :- * Almonds - 10 * sugar - 2 TBS * Butter - 1/2 Tsp * Sugar - 1/2 cup * Butter - 50 gm * Milk - 1/4 cup * Bread - 4 slices * Egg - 2 * Vanilla essence - 1/2 Tsp * Salt - 1 pinch METHOD :- * Heat a pan, then add 2 TbS sugar.  * caramel the sugar.  * To this add  1/2 tsp butter and crushed almonds.  * Mix well.  * Transfer this to a greased plate.  * Let it cooled down.  * Put a pan on the stove, add 1/2 cup sugar.  * Caramel the sugar, then add 50 GMs of butter.  * when the butter melts completely.  * Then add 1/4 cup of milk to this. * Mix well until it becomes a smooth creamy texture.  * the * Turn off the flame.  * Toast the bread slices for 15 -20  seconds without adding butter or ghee.  * Crush the bread slices. INGREDIENTS :- * Coriander seeds - 100 gm * Black cumin seeds - 25 gm * Cardamom - 25 gm * Dried ginger powder - 25 gm * Cinnamon - 25 gm * Fenugreek - 50 gm    METHOD :- * Dry roast all the ingredients seperately except dried ginger powder. * Let it cooled down completely. * Grind to a fine powder. * Then add dried ginger powder to this. *  Store in an air tight container. Wheat Bonda/ Sweet Bonda / undampori   A famous tea time snack from God's own Country is undampori. These are sweet wheat balls made with  banana and wheat as their fundamental ingredients. Fried in oil, these snack are wonderful to be presented with hot tea. It is one of the famous snacks among the Malayalees and is one of the popular food varieties sold in Teashops around this southern regions of India.
