           BROKEN WHEAT UPMA    Broken wheat upma is a healthy and tasty breakfast. It's rich in fibre. Preparing this upma in pressure cooker is very easy. The only thing is the texture of the upma, some people prefer the dry texture upma other prefer little mushy upma. That depends on the water we are adding.we can add vegetables like carrot, beans, green peas etc. I made this using only carrot.     Let's see the steps for preparing this healthy dish.               Cuisine - south indian               Catagory - breakfast         INGREDIENTS :- * Broken wheat - 1 cup * Onion - 1 * Green chilly - 2 * Ginger - 1 Inch piece * Carrot - 1 * Curry leaves - 1 sprig * Mustard - 1/2 Tsp * Oil - 2 Tbsn * Salt - to taste METHOD :- * Wash the wheat and soak it for 45 minutes. ARI PAYASAM WITH JAGGERY AND COCONUT MILK / KERALA RICE PAYASAM     During onam people makes various sorts of payasam. Here I am posting the recipe of ari payasam. This is a customary kerala recipe. This is usually made with broken matta rice or podi ari. Certain individuals made this ari payasam without coconut milk. However, here I am making this payasam with coconut milk. Temple style ari payasam is made without coconut milk.
